Litigation Background
I have been a lawyer for over 31 years. My first job out of law school was with a newly formed law firm that handled complex commercial litigation, product liability defense and other large loss or complex litigation. After 12 years, I resigned from the partnership and started my firm. Since that time, my practice has shifted to and focused on representing individuals in civil litigation including wrongful death, serious personal injury, sexual abuse, civil rights, employment, legal malpractice and product liability. My practice also includes attorney ethics counseling and representing lawyers in the grievance process as well as providing expert witness assistance for legal malpractice matters.
Currently, more than half of my practice is devoted to serving as a mediator or arbitrator in complex or high value claims as well as conducting focus groups and trial consulting.
Additional Background
Dan Mordarski has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients from Fortune 500 companies to common individuals who don’t have the means or knowledge to fight for themselves. For most of my clients, we meet them at the lowest point in their lives because they experienced a life-changing event. We often take cases that have been rejected by other lawyers and the client has nowhere else to turn. By taking challenging, underdog cases, we have had many opportunities to do what we love most: helping individuals present their legal issue to a jury for resolution. Very few things in this world are more satisfying than receiving a verdict that demonstrates the jury heard our client and wanted to make things right. When that verdict can both help my client and also make the world safer or change inappropriate conduct, that is when we know justice truly has been served.

We focus on efficient, results-driven mediations, prioritizing preparation and eliminating unnecessary formalities to move quickly toward settlement. We handle complex, high-stakes cases nationwide, including multi-party and large-loss disputes.
Arbitrations
Our arbitrations are run like court proceedings—structured, efficient, and free from unnecessary delays. We oversee discovery, promptly decide motions, and resolve disputes based on the facts and law across a wide range of contractual and commercial matters.
Death and Catastrophic
Injury Litigation
We partner with counsel in death and catastrophic injury cases, whether leading the litigation, sharing the workload, or stepping in to try a case when needed. We focus on complex, high-risk matters where the case value supports the resources required.
